Mr. Virgil W. “Lucky” Lucado, age 62, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mildred Wiley Lucado, Sr. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Lisa Ann White Lucado, Sugar Hill, GA; daughter, Krystal Joy Lucado, Monkton, MD; grandchildren, Ethan Coherd, Christian Coherd, Isabella Oetker Lucado and Xavier Oetker Lucado; brothers and sisters-in-law, Barry Lucado, Appomattox, VA, Jerry and Debbie Lucado, Charlottesville, VA, Roy Allen Lucado, Princeton, WV and Eugene and Angela Lucado, Hardy, VA; and aunt and uncle, Betty and Minor Baught, Roanoke, VA.
Mr. Lucado was born October 12, 1949 in Princeton, WV and was a 1967 graduate of Princeton High School. He was a lineman with Master Electric Contractors, Inc. and had worked for Appalachian Power for many years.
A memorial service will be held at his home in Sugar Hill, GA (metro Atlanta). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Virgil W. Lucado.
