Charles David Whittle, age 81, of Milledgeville passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Whittle. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Sager of Oxford, AL; granddaughter, Brandy Wortham; sisters, Kathleen Lockley of Covington, GA, and Jackie Mitchell of Luthersville, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Whittle was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired carpenter and painter. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Charles David Whittle will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Pastor William Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Haynes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
