Susie Ealer (Wood) Archer, age 96, of Jefferson, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012. She is survived by her son, James Alton Archer, daughters: Carolyn Louise Wright, Patricia Earlene Rogers, and Bonnie Fay Carroll, sister, Montine Hall, 11grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Broadus Wilson Archer, sons, James Thomas Archer and Baby Archer, parents, Jim and Margie Wood, sisters Minnie Dodd, Myrtie Moon, Essie Mae Lewis, Bernice Brewton, brothers, Ross Wood and Rev. C.K. Wood. Rev. Ruffus Wood, Loy Wood, Odell Wood.

Susie was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church for 40 years. Susie was a very hard worker working all of her life. She had worked for Empire Manufacturing, Treasure Island, JC Penny, Waffle House and worked for McDonalds up into her 80s.

A Funeral Service Celebrating the life of Susie will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Rev. Dwayne Carroll and Rev. Chad Rising will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ozora Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Tom M.
