Chester A. Galecki, age 95 of Lilburn, GA passed away August 7, 2012.  He was the devoted husband of 68 years to Rose Galecki; loving father to Larry and his wife Jean Galecki of Lilburn; loving grandfather to Laura and her husband Mike Karpovage of Roswell and Lisa Stanley of Loganville; loving great grandfather to Grayson and Evan Stanley; also several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Galecki was a longtime parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church.  He was a US Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II, where he achieved the rank of TSGT.  Funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Deacon Dick Suever serving as celebrant.  Interment will be held at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8PM at the funeral home.
