Harold A. Neely, Sr.

Harold A. Neely, Sr., age 90, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Neely. He is survived by his spouse of 54 years, Phyllis Neely; daughters, Patti Neely of Lawrenceville, GA, Susie Schippers of Roswell, GA; son, Andy Neely of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Delani Rae Neely, Riley Eryn Neely, Elijah Andrew Neely; sister-in-law, Jeri Urynowicz of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Gerald Neely of New Jersey; nephews, Mark Neely, Thomas Neely and David Neely; niece, Sandy Neely.

Mr. Neely was a Faithful husband, devoted father, loyal friend, man of integrity and beloved of Jesus.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wages
Lawrenceville Chapel.
A Service Celebrating the Life  of Harold A. Neely, Sr. will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Dustin Pennington officiating. Inurnment will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Margaret Eileen (Peggy) Rapkin

Margaret Eileen Rapkin, (Peggy), 89, passed away on June 5th, 2012 at her home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was born on August 11, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA, to Julius and Gladys Fabry. Peggy grew up in Philadelphia, PA.

Peggy married Warrant Officer Bernard J. Rapkin in 1942 in Vancouver, Washington. They were happily married for 61 years. Peggy participated in volunteer  organizations. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, visiting children, grandchildren and lifelong friends. She  also received Community Service Awards for helping disabled children learn to swim at the local YWCA.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Bernard J. Rapkin, parents Julius and Gladys Fabry and brother Paul Fabry. Peggy is survived by her son David Paul Rapkin (Wenli), Wayne Richard Rapkin (Helen Koschoff), James Julius Rapkin (Alesia), brother, Michael Cooke, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held at West View Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012. A visitation will be held at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Scottish Rite CHOA, 1687 Tullie Circle NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 or alternately, Brooke County Public Library Foundation-ADBC American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor Museum, Brooke County Public Library, 945 Main St., Wellsburg, WV 26070.
